In addition to working on the video for our upcoming Kickstarter fundraising project, we've started working on the rewards for Kickstarter supporters. To pique your curiosity, we thought we'd share some of what's on tap for those who give-
So there you have it, within a week (fingers crossed) we'll go live with our Kickstarter project and for 35 days we'll try not to hold our breath while we ask for your help in getting Pulp & Deckle up and running.
FYI- the Kickstarter campaign is focusing on funding for equipment and materials purchases. We're not asking for the funds to set up the business, just to get the needed items to have a professional & efficient studio.
Questions, suggestions? Let us know! Inquiring minds...
This past weekend we shot the footage for our soon to be launched Kickstarter campaign. It was a slightly muggy and warm day in Portland, so if in the final video we look frazzled- I'll blame it on the weather, and not our lack of acting prowess!
The thing is, this isn't the kind of video that you should be acting in, so I'm glad that what you see is what you get. We are real people- with real flaws, hopes, dreams, skills, abilities, etc. And our needs for the studio couldn't be more real- hence the Kickstarter campaign.
We can't thank our friend, and fabulous videographer, Will Lesher-Pierson enough for shooting the Kickstarter footage. He was a trooper as we gathered our thoughts and tried to boil down our campaign message to its essential elements.
This week we'll be editing the video and making it shine. We'll also be working on putting together images for our Kickstarter rewards. Oh, and we'll be working our full-time jobs. It'll be a busy, but rewarding week.
Pulp & Deckle is a handmade papermaking studio located in Oregon.
