Painting with Paper Pulp + Wet Collage - Sun, March 15
Learn how to use a variety of paper pulps to make layered wet collage paintings, all made from paper fibers! In this 2 hour workshop from 2-4pm on Sunday, March 15th we'll use already prepared paper pulp to create one of a kind handmade paper paintings. The pulps will be made from cotton t-shirts, burlap coffee sacks, long beaten abaca and 2 more surprise colors!
The focus of the class is on learning how to use squeeze bottles, paint brushes, stencils, and collage elements to create acid free and eco-friendly artworks. We'll discuss the history and process of making the pulp prior to creating about 2-8 unique pulp paintings.
Class size is limited to 6, ages 12 and up are welcome. No prior experience necessary. We'll send you more info about the class via email about 1 week before the class.
