Recycled Papermaking - Friday, April 26
Want to learn how to make your own paper at home for cards, art, invitations, books, or other fun projects? In this 2 hour course (6-8pm) we will focus on simple papermaking that you can do at home using an ordinary kitchen blender, picture frames, knitting hoops, and junkmail.
We'll also use cookie cutters and stencils to make shaped papers and try outsome embedding/inclusions. Students are encouraged to bring dried plants, seeds, yarn, etc. if you would like to add it to their paper.
This class is suitable for ages 16 and up and is limited to 6 students. No previous papermaking experience required. Workshop fee is $25 and includes cost of materials.
